"It protects and beautifies" ad for Johnson's Polishing Wax in Woman's Home Companion, April 1928

The picture shows a very typical "early American" dining room of the type so popular in the early 20th century, with a drop-leaf table and comb-back Windsor chairs with rush seats, a corner cabinet, and a small spindle-legged side table. The floor might be intended for brick or terracotta quarry tile, but it's most likely meant to be linoleum, which was incredibly popular at the time, especially in dining rooms and kitchens.
