Have I mentioned how much I love the opening of “Livewire”? It’s one of my favorite things. Big bad agent terrified of seeing her mom. What a good trope.
And like, all of it, the whole episode, is just about the women, and about mothers and daughters, and “favorite” daughters, and family dynamics, and they make it really clear that that’s adoptive & chosen & metaphorical, too.
