Damar was the most real character I’ve come across, ever. Like, he just felt real. He was authentic. He was polite when he wanted to be and around the people he respected. The way he joked and chuckled in Mila’s basement. The hopeless hopefulness of the situation that he knows he’s in. The fact that he didn’t really want to lead but he knew if he didn’t there was little to no hope for Cardassia. I just love the guy

Little help?

I saw a post about a month ago and I'm trying to find it again to help with a fic WIP I've got, can anybody please help? The post was about comparing Garak, Dukat, and Damar to Terran reptiles, and I want to see their thoughts again since in my WIP, Julian can't help comparing them to Terran reptiles.

I remember Garak was likened to an American Alligator, Dukat was likened to a Black Mamba, and Damar was a Komodo Dragon, which I found interesting as I thought of Garak as the dragon and Damar as a crocodile, possibly a Nile crocodile purely for his size (it always amazes me Dukat is actually taller than Damar when Damar always strikes me as bigger). Dukat was always a snake. >:)

If somebody recognizes it and knows how to use the search engine to find a specific post, could they please send a link or something?
