Some Punz/Drunz Headcanons

Punz can use a katana well and often swings it around in a tango-like manner to woo Dream. It works wonderfully. (Inspiration: his new insta photo-video dump)

Punz has traveled to other SMPs in secret to improve his fighting skills. (Inspiration: some kind of edgy backstory I came up with a month or two ago for funsies)

Punz runs simulations to predict player movement. It usually backfires on him because game characters don't act like normal people. (Inspiration: VALORANT and rp-er-Techno's weird psychology experiments.)

Dream calls Punz 'Mercedes' because: one, Punz is very valuable, and two, because Merc can be short for 'mercenary' or 'Mercedes'

90% of the time he looks calm, but internally he’s speed-running 12 thoughts at once.

Has the “I could do it better but I don’t care enough” energy.

Annoyingly good at everything he tries, then shrugs like, “Yeah, that was easy.”

Collects beanies the way dragons collect gold. No one has seen him wear the same one twice. This is why Dream's biggest monthly expense is beanies. He buys one, and Punz process to permanently borrow them the next day. The only peace Dream gets is when Punz picks up a beanie from the sidewalk and "fixes" it to make it look more presentable. (more will be said about this soon).

Can crochet, sew, knit, embroider, etc. etc. (It's because of his experience with beanies.) He can make a good housewife, and Dream abuses this trait of his in the nicest manner possible.

Sapnap thinks Dream is being robbed. George thinks Dream is stupid. Truth is, Punz is just reallocating the beanies.

Punz: “You weren’t wearing it." Dream: “Punz, it was in my drawer.” Punz: “Exactly. Wasted.”

Dream once bought a beanie, put a tracker in it, and hid it in a safe.The next day, Punz walked into the living room wearing it. “Your safe is easy to pick,” Punz said, as if that wasn’t alarming in 17 different ways. (The cult Punz joined before getting into the dream SMP (yes, that's right, that edgy backstory thing I was talking about above) should not have taught him how to pick locks. While threatening a VALORANT player and another beanie at the same time.)

You hear Punz sipping coffee in the kitchen like an exhausted dad while Dream tortures Tommy.

The difference in C!Rivals duo friendship and C!Drunz friendship is that C!techno only uses dream for favors he only is loosely friends with dream just to do things for dream just so dream has to do things for him

I mean sure it’s usual for friends to do things for each other but Techno’s only purpose of their friendship is to get things out of Dream I mean we all saw how after he got dream out and fully away that he immediately asked for and took the armor back he literally wouldn’t even let dream keep the armor when he knew that dream has nothing literally nothing and after dream left we immediately see him talking to Phil about using dream to bring back ranboo

Which I mean bringing ranboo back would be kinda fair because it was dreams fault he died but like dream is a damaged person who has been mistreated even before prison so of course he’s not going to care about ranboo he has no attachment to him he doesn’t value his life of course dreams priority is gonna be getting himself out and away he’s been being abused for months

Punz whoever gave dream extra armor Punz trusts dream to the point he placed his shulker box right in front of dream and even allowed dream to break it he offered dream a place to stay but dream refused because he doesn’t wanna risk Punz getting hurt he doesn’t wanna risk Punz going through what he went through

But Punz is willing to do that and Punz is willing to lose Sapnap one of the only other people he has even slightly on his side he is willing to lose him to help dream and protect dream

Drunz are true friends rivals duo are simply using each other tho I feel dream does truly want to be friends with techno but techno won’t allow it whether he’s just being stubborn and not wanting anymore attachments or doesn’t wanna risk his own safety or whether he’s just not allowing it because he’s trash /lh /hj who knows

I get to be a little bit freaky about cpunz and cdream on main. as a treat

ironically enough this is also lore. the freaky is inseparable from the lore because without the freaky cpunz wouldn't have been able to revive anyone

cpunz actually finds most blood gross (that shit will stain his beautiful expensive gucci hoodie and his blindingly white Yeezys) except for cdream’s. he’s gonna use those extra canines to bite cdream deep enough to draw blood and they’re both gonna love it. he unlocks the Vampire Within around cdream

side note for my au nobody can use the revival book unless they ingest some part of cdream (ExDee created the book with the intention of it being only for his use, turns out having some part of ‘his’ flesh is enough, and as a clone dream fits that bill)

cdrunz found this out entirely by accident during the experiments. freaks

(cquackity might actually be able to use the book, again by accident, but he avoided getting anything in his mouth so its unlikely)

I love drunz taking care of each other so much. punz DOES give a mean ass deep tissue massage and dream can do it right back for xem. even after they became partners dream continues to pay punz just because he likes to get them things. he buys them fancy imported cigarettes and nice perfume and gold jewelry and literally whatever he thinks he's gonna like. every morning punz helps dream go through all his physical therapy exercises and rub ointment/balms into his scars. me when I make my supposedly evil villains soft and loving

dream definitely purrs. there is no animal that I feel fits him better than a kitty cat. big scary panther but also all big cats are kitties. so he purrs and knocks stuff off tables to annoy people. 4am and it is ninety seven degrees in my home and I am rambling and delirious.
