I have something to add to the whole thing about duo and trio names. Now, it might not be something that totally convinces you that we should have them, but I wanna say it anyways.

Artists use the tags, and if there are more tags, that usually means that art is more spread out. I for one, know that if I post art on a less used tag, like fanart for a cc! that has less of an audience, I get more likes. Even when I used to be on Instagram this was the case (I know, it sucked, Insta sucks). I remember how one of my most liked posts was for the 30 Day SMP, because the tags were so varied and not cluttered with constantly posted art.

Maybe this is a weak argument, maybe its stupid, but artists need all the help we can get. And c’mon guys, sometimes duo names are fun, it can be funny, or cool, or a reference to something etc. 

I’m not vagueing anyone btw, I don’t wanna start a fight, I know I’m new to Tumblr (I think its been 3 months of posting?) and semi new to the fandom (not really, I think by now 7 months is pretty good) but I just wanted to put this out there.

Cosmic = Karl and Purpled but @cordiwinkswinsagain also said it. we are on the same wavelength and I credit my oomf always

I now decree as the 237th most important person in dsmpblr that Philza and Wilbur Soot will be henceforth known as legacy duo.

Cuz the concept of your legacy has a lot to do with what is passed down though family. And both of them have this image of themselves that other characters are attached to. Like Wilbur having the legacy of both a great leader and a horrible traitor. And Phil being seen as both a kindly parent figure that couldn’t possibly have teamed up with Techno for doomsday, and the Angel of Death (eh more headcanon but u get the picture).

I got curious about how many duos there were in the dsmp so I decided to just see how many I could find.. Long story short I spent maybe a hour of going through tags and found about 40. My search is not over, but this made me realize two things: first, there is alot of duos and second, I am too far down the hole in this fandom.
