I edited down ConnorEatsPants’s recent VODs from May 21, 2022. I left in literally everything where anything of note other than the passage of time was happening, and got it down to a bit under two hours from about five and a half hours.

Honestly it was some kind of an Experience to watch the whole thing at 4x speed.

In this video, Connor stood on Eret’s tower with nice shaders, and sometimes looked around a little bit. He had TTS donos on and did not seem to be moderating his chat. He briefly did not have mediashare disabled and this caused some audio to play. People did a fair amount of walking up to Connor’s unmoving body and doing weird things in front of him while he was mostly-afk. Some people were chasing each other around in the distance, also.

Fundy walked up to him and built and then fell off a partial bridge, which he later destroyed by hand. BadBoyHalo, Sapnap, and Dream fought each other near him and placed some signs talking to him or his chat. They eventually mostly wandered off, but BadBoyHalo remained, occasionally placing quirky signs. Eventually he also made himself an invisible platform of barrier blocks and showed off some op powers. Antfrost showed up and joined him in this.

In his third stream, he came back a few hours after the second stream crashed, and walked around and talked about what he’d been doing, and confirmed that it was all canonical to the server.

I just finished and published this edit! It’s specifically a lore edit of the part of Tubbo’s first VOD after the exile verdict in which Tubbo and Dream played chess! (This is the same VOD as when Tubbo visits Logstedshire with Ghostbur and gets the Your Tommy compass, and talks about New L’Manburg treaties with Dream. I have the rest of it edited down here [link], but cut out most of the chess game because it was long and hard to follow.)

I added an overlay with a diagram of a chess board (made with the chess puzzle editor from the Apronus Online Chess Publishing Project [link]) to make it easier to follow what was going on in the game.

Thank you to this analysis post [link][alternate link, mobile with tags copied] by shrugofgod and dayables for drawing my attention to the characterization and symbolism in this chess match!

Under the cut is a (non-looping) gif of just the chess diagrams of the game.

They set up the board incorrectly, in two different ways, but catch that the white king and queen were swapped relative to the black ones and fix that early in the game. They each get one undo for blunders.

Oh also, I don’t usually post about when I just cut the Dream SMP section of a longer VOD and post it (or the lore section of a much longer VOD when there’s a discrete difference), but I did recently cut to just the Dream SMP part of some Foolish VODs from this March, which had new Egg stuff and Sam Nook, and I am going to post about and link these, because the original VODs are less accessible. This was while Foolish was doing a lot of reacting to videos, especially Gordon Ramsey, and the VODs were taken down from the Internet Archive and blocked in many countries on YouTube.

These are everything that happened on the Dream SMP in those streams, not edited down at all for being lore:

March 7, 2022: Foolish gathers building supplies and talks to BadBoyHalo and Sam in chat. He finds Bad's new griefs at his summer home and complains. Bad and Sam Nook come in-person, and Foolish hires Nook to help him clean up the statue, and considers hiring for future work. (38m)

March 8, 2022: Foolish works on building DoozerHQ and finds a piece of growth that looks like blood vines from the Egg. (56m)

March 10, 2022: Foolish confronts BadBoyHalo about all the new Egg growth and hires Sam Nook for landscaping and to investigate the Egg. Bad and Foolish continue their prank war. (2h9m)

March 11, 2022: Foolish and Sam Nook investigate the blood vines at Doozer HQ, and elsewhere, and discover that the original Egg is not contained. Nook shows Foolish his moss and azalea farm, and Foolish worries about whether DreamXD would be opposed to the Egg. (58m)
