Her presence somewhat surprised him a little--he's used to hearing another person's thoughts before actually seeing them, so when Moon reached out her umbrella, she's met with a somewhat bewildered expression. It's only then that Naven notices her metallic sheen. Aaah. That explained it.

"Goodness, and me without my own umbrella in this rain! Many thanks, miss--" He graciously inclines his head in thanks as he ducks under the dry safety of shade. "--Though I'm sure this shower will pass in but a few minutes or so. Are you sure you don't need this, though? Um..." ...Is it rude to ask a robot if they're waterproof?? "...You won't get hurt by this rain in any way...?"

He was not supposed to be here. No, scratch that--they were not supposed to be here. This area was supposed to be off-limits to humans during the day. Though perhaps he’d strayed a little farther away from his usual path this time, and perhaps he’d made a bit more noise than he really should’ve in thinking that he was alone. The sounds of smashing glass and dangerous laughter had been his warning, and naturally he hadn’t exactly ‘played along’ with what these sloppy, disgusting humans wanted.

And now he was in the middle of a bar brawl minus the bar, outnumbered six to one--well, five to one if the guy he’d thrown into the wall was going to stay down--and all it took was one loose punch to knock his sunglasses off and nearly blind him in the afternoon light.

Lost gun, lost glasses--now things were starting to get dire. But he would not stop swinging, he would not call Forte to bail him out (not that he could, anyway, with no wireless capability of his own), he would not lose. He couldn’t. Not like this.
