TGIM - It's not over until I WIN I was playing a game the other night with my daughter Ella who is nearly 5. The game we played was Hungry Hippos where the person who gets his/her hippo to eat the most balls wins. We played probably about 8 or 9 games which I kept winning, me being competitive, yes even against a 5 year old. As the evening went on I was getting tired and said to Ella I'm tiered now so it's time for bed. Ella said to me No dad I havnt won yet let's keep playing, so I said look No it's late, but please dad she replied, No Ella I'm tired the games finished I keep wining it's over! To which she looked at me right in the eye & said in a stern voice DAD it's not over until I win! So with that I was told & we kept playing & I kept wining until after many games Ella won and she looked at me & said Dad I'm tiered now we can go to bed. Imagine if we all had that great attitude of not giving up no matter how many times we loose or get knocked back or people promise us & then let us down, we loose money we don't have work to always have the attitude it's not over until I win! Never give up on something you want bad keep working no matter what. Even at this young age of 5 I teach Ella never give up no matter what you do never give in. I have a saying I use, When life knocks you down try to fall on your back, that way you can look up head up & get up just don't ever give up. Remember a set back is a set up for a comeback.
