love when a car fucks a lap and then goes into the pit lane like. oh actually i was always gonna do that haha. i'm pitting anyway. nothing to see here i was just in the gravel bc i Like it there. almost as much as i like the pit lane. which is where i am going and always was.

2015 zandvoort race 1 summary
bmws top 7 finishers *nauseous emoji*, *throwing up emoji*
podium: wittmann, da costa, martin
cars just kept slowly dnfing. di resta crashed out lap 1 and then tomczyk's car threw up smoke behind sc and then molina and mortara came into pits and never came out (because of lap1 damage?), and wickens i didn't even NOTICE, and then green spun off (race-ending) and then paffett and dani went through the gravel (non- race-ending). what the hell
my favorite part was the three-way battle that had tambay make a steller move up the middle and then also had eki make a real good sneakpast taking advantage from behind
they had this slowzone thing that i didn't understand for most of the time but essentially they can call a vsc in a certain section of the track instead of the whole thing and they call it a slow zone

dani dnf, luggi at the back...
tho luggi did do some fun crimes! he was one of the later pitters and a whole queue got stuck behind him and he was fighting them like ht wasn't on a different strat
my favorite part was when everything happened at once--luggi, while fighting random battles, got spun, and then the previously stoppered-by-luggi pack started banging and then we cut to a shot of tomczyk crawling down the main straight because he can't see out the front because his bonnet is peeling
eki got in the points so thank fuck we got SOMETHING out of this weekend

yes it was another beamer dominance--they finished top five. deeespicable.
side note: is da costa's full last name felix da costa? i'm pretty sure yes. but idc that's too long

lots of rubbing racing this race. not too much outright carnage but SO much door-to-door. banging. overtakes that they are WRENCHING out. fun stuff
