❁— ”Her breathing was quiet. Quickened, but quiet. Her heart kept up along with her, pumping her adrenaline to where it needed to be most at this very moment. She ran, grabbing the blunt object in her hand, looking for the other. She slowly came to a hallway, breathing becoming heavy, stopping. It was a dead end. She had to be down here.
Suzie walked down the hallway, her heels clacking and echoing against the stone walls. She walked calmly. Readily. She knew there was no way the other could have escaped this one. She turned the corner, looking at the other, crouched over.
"I found you!"
