So Calus mentioned during the dungeon that to earn our trust, he’ll shower us with praise and gifts. And I’m kind of beguiled by the use of the word “praise”, because I mean, praise us he did, there’s no doubt about that, but he’s left SO many guardians questioning the intent of it all in the form of “is this flirting/sexual harassment, or is he talking about fighting and fighting alone”.

Calus, in general, has a certain way that he speaks and addresses others (not everyone, obviously, but as a general). There’s a sort of saucy undertone to a lot of things he says, so I’m left wondering if maybe he got lost in the excitement that we were taking his bait hook line and sinker, or if he learned from someone or something that many of the residents on Earth are incredibly sexually charged beings and decided to go ham on his praise and affections. 

There’s also the possibility that none of it was sexual in the first place, he just has a very strange way of showing affection to others and, again, a very lusty undertone in his voice that’s probably obscenely natural for him. Why? Who knows. Personally? I think he knows how to entice and manipulate people, even if he’s not being explicitly sexual in nature. Maybe he wants to leave some people guessing and coming back again and again, not just for those prizes, but because he was supposedly an ally and some form of safe company for guardians who just wanna party hard, loot and shoot, and maybe bust it down sexual style.

@s0urf0x/@have-some-heals and I had a busy night. First, we got our seals and then we finished the duality dungeon with a master nightfall in between and getting crushed in the crucible. But with friends like these, losing isn’t so bad

OMG, the Duality Dungeon was ROUGH at the end. Mechanically-wise, it took a bit to just get it down but, once we did, we got a pretty good flow and damage phase going that got it moving along okay. But the adds coming in and those damned Psion snipers ... It made it frustrating.

We also took our time and wandered though and around, looking for the hidden chests and all the memories. Found a couple chests and all 12 of the memories, so that was awesome!

All in all, between getting our bearings, finding hidden stuff, learning the puzzles, and the final boss, we were in there a good 5 hours. Should go much faster the next go. And, I hope the next run at least gives me a weapon. I don't even care which one. I'd just like one. This go only awarded me the dungeon armor, which was a helmet, three of the same arms, and two of the same legs.

WTF, @bungieteam? Please fix the drop rates of things so there aren't so many repeats in rewards. Also, for a dungeon like this, and one centered around Calus, the armor could've been cooler and more opulent looking, ngl.

At least one of the pairs of pants I got had good stats, though, so there was that! :)

Thank you to @hellkitten813 and Luigi! Love running the game with you guys! Even if frustrating and I end up grumbling and swearing at the tv, you still make it fun!

*yawns*. I am BEAT. And hungry. Cayde is still in a meeting. Gonna just hang here in the alcove and snooze while I wait for him so we can get some ramen when he's done!
