can't believe I'm having to make another post like this but Duddits, my other guinea pig, just died.

I went to clean the cage and I found him. he must've been gone in the last hour or two. I didn't notice anything off and as far as I was aware he was young and healthy. IDK if maybe he was depressed after Popcorn or if Popcorn DID have something and passed it to him.

I just have my sister's former piggie, Rupert. IDK if he and Duddits pair bonded but I am NOT getting another guinea pig.

not only because I am terrified something DID pass between them, but also because I am NOT able to handle another piggie or pet passing this year. I only lost Popcorn almost 2 months ago now. (which is why I think it may be a broken pair-bond issue but I just... genuinely am at a loss.)

thankfully I have tomorrow off from work but I'm taking a break for a bit.
