Sorcerer or warlock?

Warlock. I love sorcerers, because Charisma plus magic is my jam. But charisma plus magic plus inherent story threads because you’re pledging yourself to some mysterious, powerful creature that’s absolutely going to want to fuck with your life later on? That’s not just my jam, it’s a my whole queen’s cake with whipped cream and strawberry jam filling, I am all for that.

12. Jewelry headcanon

Umm. Maybe I should come up with something better for people who like Feanor more. But all I’m thinking is that he isn’t allowed to forge or doesn’t have the right materials or something in Mandos so his jewelry is very, very lacking and it’s near the top of the list of the (many) things Namo calls him Extra Dramatic about. Feanor complains at least a few times a century his wardrobe and accessories are lacking, and he usually includes the phrase “tyranny of the Valar!” and occasionally “fashion crimes” in his passionate speeches that never work.

How do you make things so awesome for those around you?

A cool mist humidifier can help brighten up the room, just add a couple of drops of either sandalwood or peppermint oil, and then a small splash of LSD.

Do you have a process for making character concepts?

Oh, god no. My character creation process goes from “Okay, so the party needs this to balance them out and so I can play that, now they can fit into the world like this and so...” to “Oh, I want to play this class and what can I do to fit that in” to “Oh shit this song is great, I’m going to build an entire character around the lyrics.”

Really, it’s about whatever comes to mind for me at the time and then fitting pieces together. And the best parts usually come when I get to play them and bounce stuff off other players (love my weird Barovia family of nerds) to build them into something more interesting.

I assume you have a favorite place to get tacos, that your voice has a profound effect on people, and that you are much harder on yourself than you deserve.

I feel like I am innately unqualified to judge two of these, but the other is correct.

Forest home! Mountain home would be my second choice. I’ve lived by the ocean, but not a huge fan of it.
