Banning Sagging pants

Apparently “sagging” has been banned in louisiana. A post went around my facebook feed and several people are agreeing. This was my response to a family member that agreed with the ban.  “Theres nothing offensive about the natural human body either.. your kids are not being 'scared for life' by seeing a bra strap or underwear. XD and many people see leather and bikers to be violent and intimidating. So of course many are also offended by such aggressive attire because that is the stereotype. But you understand it and it's a part of your life so you know that bikers with leathers have nothing to do with the stereotype. it stretches many ways.. everything is on perception and stereotypes. Nudity was not always offensive neither was underwear. A boob wasn't a sexual part it's for breastfeeding. Leather on bikers is safety (roadburn im sure hurts like a bitch) and sagging may seem like a useless fashion statement but also consider that it used to be MEN who wore high heels and the color pink as a sign of status until that was altered to be a womans thing later on. Can you imagine how absurd it is for a woman to to want to be part of the work force? blasphemy that originally eating lobster was only good enough for the poor people because it was plentiful and lobsters were considered unhealthy bottomfeeders..until that changed too and the status became a 'rich people' only sort of meal. things always change.. it's always on perspective.. banning an "annoying" fashion statement seems rather petty. like..if they want to ban something annoying how about starting with spam email, solicitors and phone calls during dinner time? plus there are tons of annoying fashion statements i wish could get banned.. don't get me wrong.. one sleeved dresses… matte pink lipstick.. pumps with a wedding dress. The amount of excuses i could make on why so many things could 'hinder or scar my child" or "offend me" are unlimited..But in the end, it's never true. It's never right. And until someone wants to ban something you care about, who will be left to stand up for something that involves you if you cannot stand up for something that involves them?
