This deserves a blog entry (hopefully soon). 🌟 Lost&found note, one of the many booths to buy games and just a small piece of huge variety of dice. ⚔️🛡🎲 #dundracon #games #dice #lost #found #donut #travel #sanramon #con #geek #nerd (at San Ramon Marriott)
DunDraCon Protospiel 2025
DunDraCon Protospiel 2025 is happening February 14-17 in Santa Clara, CA. Last year's event had nearly 275 game testing hours, 125 players, and almost 50 games.
The Game Crafter loves to support indie game designers and design events like Protospiel so we're happy to sponsor this event each year with board game pieces and blank prototyping components.
DunDraCon Protospiel (Feb 16-19)
DunDraCon Protospiel starts next week on Friday, Feb 16th at 9am and runs until Monday, Feb 19th at 5pm PT.
This is an opportunity for game players to meet and game with game designers who need to get their games playtested. These are original, unpublished, board games, card games, and role-playing game designs you can't buy in a store yet. The designers are looking for your player feedback and your uncanny way of breaking their rules. This 4-day Protospiel game event will have: sponsored prizes, daily raffles, snacks, and the chance for all DunDraCon members to test out next year’s greatest games.
The Game Crafter is a proud supporter of this event and we donated assorted blank prototyping components and a bunch of board game pieces. We hope everyone has a great time!
Protospiel at DunDraCon 2020
The Game Crafter is proud to sponsor the Protospiel at DunDraCon 2020. It’s no secret that we love to support indie board game designers and design events. We’re providing blank prototyping components, assorted game pieces, and TGC promo cards for this event. We also teamed up with Jay Cormier and sent 50 of his Fail Faster Journal sheets for designers to try out! These are 1-page samples of the journals that designers can use when they are playtesting. We want indie designers to have resources on-site to create new games or improve existing ones. We hope you have a great time!
If you are going to be around San Ramon, CA then be sure to check out this event! Otherwise, you can see the list of other 2020 events we’re sponsoring at https://www.thegamecrafter.com/events.
My monthly article
You know you’re being distracted by DunDraCon when you completely forget to share your own articles! (sheepish grin) I have been writing a lot by hand in my downtime here. I’ve written rough drafts which could turn into future chapters of More Than a Jinrou here and there when I haven’t been gaming...
Promote, Strut, and Celebrate Your Me-ness
I just got to finish DunDraCon, a west coast gaming convention with a couple of Changeling: The Dreaming roleplaying games. I began with Exalted. Yay!
I’ve got a beautiful cover by Natasha Snow for A Symposium in Space at the Cauldron along with Phaedra and Sokrat discussing it. Along with the story.
Enjoy!
