so! i made a dunmeris translator a few years ago for myself, using the casualscrolls wiki's fanmade language. i've mainly used it for stories/poems and art pieces. i've kept it private bc it's a little annoying to use, but i already wrote out instructions (for myself lol) so i might as well post it here, for anyone who wants to try it!

PLEASE READ + REFERENCE ALL THE NOTES BELOW THE TRANSLATOR! they are very important! and remember that i didn't come up with the language, i made this for silly fun, and i probably won't update it unless there's some sort of big issue.

As much as I understand why and it pains me that most Dunmer don’t speak Dunmeris/Chimeris as a native tongue or at all, it is incredibly amusing to hear Dunmer supremacists who can’t speak their native tongue.

Dunmeris headcanon: the glottal fricative /h/ is silent in onset position (at the beginning of a syllable), that's why Hlaalu is pronounced /la:lu/
