this one might be weird for Mass Effect Ships Week but I can't help myself, I wish we had more BroRyder/Dutch Smith scenes, aka the bartender of Vortex, whose first words to Ryder are:
and he gets into this whole outburst and actually says Ryder is like a space cockroach, which is really funny to me.
Dutch, by the way, has such a charming personality. I mean, he is called a sweetie and I'm pretty sure he really is, but look at how he talks about the people buying drinks: "They're guinea pigs, damn it. Chemists should have guinea pigs."
You can tell in his mind, he's thinking I can't like this Ryder guy he disturbs my place! but also he's so dreamy
And the way Ryder can reply:
Dutch's reaction is so cute because you can tell this is someone who will take things literally. And he's also an introvert doing an extrovert job:
And I want to point out that this is an actual dialogue option after this:

And this is where I see the potential: a Ryder who shamelessly flirts with a Dutch who stares at him not always understanding the hints but getting there (thanks to Anan). And Ryder is very consistent about dropping by, about bringing Dutch things. And one day, he's also very sincere about making sure Dutch is okay, about going somewhere quiet and peaceful with him (what, it's sorta a date okay) and is in fact really laughing because Dutch is funny. He really is. Ryder appreciates this man who seems ridiculous at times but who is actually irresistible.
