listening to the black books dvd commentaries and oh my god i need this for literally every other sitcom in existence!!! its just the 3 of them doing bits and taking the piss out of each other 💀 (and occasionally mentioning something about the episode). Dylan practically just sits there and points out the jokes they wrote that he thinks were shit 😭😭😭 its absolutely perfect. 10/10 no notes

yes! chapter 19 was the only one she did an audio commentary for, but there were a few other ones from cp and pg.

This fic’s existence is your doing entirely. That, and Amberle and Eretria having a lot of chemistry on screen!

I loved your idea of having Eretria be Amberle’s bodyguard, and now that I think of it, that situation might have led to so much angst :p But I chose the kinda cheesy way, with Amberle realizing that she’s crushing on Eretria.

Favorite parts include:

“Eretria had asked why she suddenly couldn’t enjoy her morning training sessions in peace, now that the ground was invaded by a bunch of Elves each morning. Amberle had explained the Gauntlet, and the Ellcrys and the legend attached to it. Eretria had made a hissing sound and mumbled something amongst the lines of “fucking Elves…” before raising her eyes to meet Amberle’s. “You’re participating?”Amberle opened wide eyes. “No, I mean...It’s only for the boys.”“Seriously?!” Eretria scoffed. “Why? There are women in the army, why not amongst your Elected or whatever they’re called?”“Chosen. And I don’t know…” because of angry Eretria and feminist Eretria.

And ““Alright, Princess…Maybe you’re doing better than I thought.” [...] [Eretria] held out a hand. Amberle held tightly to it as she got back up, not wanting to let go.“Let’s do it again?””  Because I left myself a nice open door for potential future chapters :p

Hello Steph , I was wondering cause I don't have S4 on DVD , is there episodes commentary like previous series ?

Actually, as far as I know, no, there is not (I didn’t buy S4 so I can’t double check for you). The extras on the DVD were just a bunch of featurettes. You can read the transcripts here.

Hmm. It never even occurred to me until you mentioned it that this is the case.
