I didn’t finish this cause it ended up being lowkey ass but I wanted to put this here to get it outta my brain. I haven’t seen many but I find aus where the toon handlers go back to try and find their toons really fascinating! Like imagine you used to work in this place where you took care of these silly lil guys and then you get fired and then it shuts down because of some incident and the there’s just? Nothing? wtf happend to those silly guys you took care of! Are they still there? The place is obvs not closed down completely, there are still trains going to and from it. So anyways I think if they decided to go back they’d be horrified. Those silly guys have turned into CREATURES.
If I did end up doing something with this which idk if I will, I’m not sure if I would go for the “actual toons turn into creatures” path or the “they are some sorta clone-double-thing?” Path where the actual toon exists there’s just also a creature. There’s fun to be had both ways. I’m not even really sure I’d have cosmo and sprout here like this but I wanted to draw this sorta thing with the big claw hand Sprout has

You: “Hey, don’t fret, you guys. If I can find what she needs quickly, I can make it before we close up shop for today.”
Shanon: “Those lower floors aren’t as brightly lit as up here, please be careful..”
You: “I’ll be quick, I promise…”
