Hotch glanced over his shoulder and gave the brunet a long, stoic stare letting Reid know that the other started to ramble off again and divert from the topic at hand. It was a normal occurrence, however; they needed to focus on the task and job at hand.

Even if the information Reid was sharing had been rather interesting.

Thank you for the heads up cause I noticed the site didnt work either. Also, I honestly thought the calculator would be a diss we could laugh about but seems I was wrong.

Evidently their names are super compatible and she’s just gonna settle him with a stare and probably asked him with a completely blank expression, “Are we gonna make out now, or what?” Just to watch him stutter and blush.

“It’s fine Reid.” 

A lie. Hotch would not be surprised that Reid figured that out, however, he wanted to keep the matter to himself. Until the evidence was made clear and decisive. Dragging everyone into the fight was pointless and frankly tiring. 

“Don’t worry. It’s nothing I can’t handle,” He says, gently. “Shouldn’t you be helping Morgan?”

Gives Hotch a brief smile and waves awkwardly at him for a moment. He waits a second for Penelope to finish her comment before he finally gets up and goes to him. “Hey Hotch. The others are going out for drinks, but I’m more in the mood for a milkshake. Do you want to go with me? We can grab one for Jack.”

Hotch smiled. “Yeah, that sounds nice. Thanks, Reid.” He looked at his desk. “Give me a minute to finish up here?”

“penny for your thoughts, kid?” it seemed obvious to dave that there was something going through spencer’s mind; something that the rest of the team wasn’t getting. though that wasn’t all that unusual. “you think of something we’re missing?”
