Kajsa had been wanting to come back to the palace for a visit for quite a while, but she had been busy in Germany and hadn’t been able to make it for Celine and Berlioz’s wedding. She and Tristan had volunteered to let his parents go attend the wedding while they oversaw the function of the castle and kingdom at home. But once she was able to travel, she took the chance. Arriving at the palace, her first place to visit was her sister, and she knew she was there which meant that they could see each other again after such a long time. She texted her, telling her to meet her outside in the garden, and waiting for her.

Fingers dragged along the heavy bag, forcing it forward as he slumped along through the hallway. "You’d think I would be stronger, you know, having carried this around so many times in my youth.” He spoke to his self. It had not mattered, the gun was still heavy regardless of how strong Ackley claimed to be. Pulling it up and over his shoulder, Ace stumbled forward and crashed against the wall. “My apologies, I hope I didn’t make a lot of noise.” Ace uttered as he saw a figure standing close by.

Berlioz woke to the sounds of crying coming from the cradle on the opposite side of the room and, before Greta could wake, he got up and strode over to the wailing baby, picking him up and rocking him gently. In his father’s arms, the baby stopped crying and blinked his glassy eyes up at his father before falling back to sleep. Berlioz heard movement behind him and he turned around, smiling at his wife. “He’s alright. Go back to sleep.”
