the controversy around Dxmon and their being 'alleged' evidence of the members sleeping with fans and their staff has made me realize that do not alot of ppl know how common it is for idols to sleep with fans?
The sleeping with staff rumour is more gross for me b/c of the power imbalance but as long as an nda is signed and they're both adults and it's consensual (hopefully protection is used but probably not in most cases)...who cares honestly?
Your ult bias (mine included) has probably slept with a lot of fans and while I think it is dangerous for an idol's reputation, it just happens b/c these guys are horny and they have the power to do so.
I know it's probably different with girl groups b/c there would be more issues around consent and safety but I'm sure there's been female idols who've slept with fans right? It can't just be the guys.
And I have gotten heaps of requests in my inbox that's been like 'which idol of this group is most likely to sleep with a fan?' which I delete every time b/c I know what ppl are like on here and I don't want ppl going to a concert with the main intention of sleeping with their bias like that's just rlly slimy imo.
I think a lot of ppl have romanticised these nda's as the idol is going to take you out on a date and you're going to have the night of your life at a luxurious hotel- that can be further from reality.
If you sign an nda I swear, the most accurate outcome is going to be a 30 second tryst in a dirty bathroom or in the change rooms, barely any conversation, no aftercare, just a pump n dump situation.
this has been reported with notorious rock bands like Motley Crue who would drag a random groupie and just fuck them for ten seconds behind the stage, in public.
what makes you think these idols are better? they're not.
