found: a really mean looking sword // Ghirahim
The young girl has to do a double take when she first sees it so nonchalantly placed underneath the shade of an oak. Eyes colored like cranberries hurriedly scanned the park and the asphalt path where cityfolk made their daily promenades, even physically turning in place to see if anyone at all seemed to be look for it. Instead, all she saw were people and children going about their days. It being this...well, it certainly looked like a sword. But never one that Yui herself had ever laid eyes upon, for this blade was nothing like the silver rapiers that had been mounted on displays and hung up on the mansion walls to serve as grandiose decorations. Or to be plunged into the innocent. But even stiletto sabers seemed to be nothing but sewing needles in comparison to what she seemed to be the only person to notice.
She gazed at a jagged blade with many sharpened edges and a metal blacker than night. Emblazoned on the surface a crest that was foreign to her completely. Most notable of all was the numbing dread that balled itself within the pits of her stomach. This thing...it wasn't benevolent. And it was set down with the blade upright and the pommel in the grass. If someone were to be careless, they would surely be gravely injured.
"...Eh --" Nervously she fidgeted with her hands, clasping her fingers together or glancing around some more. All signs point to her not touching the weapon, but Yui must. Cautiously she knelt down before the brooding blade and she took the grip with one hand over the other. And it was just as heavy as it looked. She knew that she had a long way to go as far as physical strength went, but this was just ridiculous! And the size of the blade itself? Who did this belong to?! "Guh -- and why leave it here...?" She grunted out to herself and gave a forceful heave when she went to bring herself back up. And while she does bring herself back up, her fingers slipped and the sword fell onto the soft grass beneath it with a harsh thud.
