Meme time.
hello. all three dunphy children are bisexual. and dylan.
With my wife, she's pretty, and smart, and a doctor... But if you’re always telling yourself how lucky you are, it’s probably because you’re afraid to ask yourself how happy you are. Right?
Dylan Marshall, Modern Family (2009 Sitcom)
fuck you *polyams rival ships*
(pick one of my ot3s based off two “rival ships” which can include anything from canon love triangles, two popular ships, canon ship and popular fanon one, really whatever I feel counts)
Choose
Rarity/Rainbow/Applejack (My Little Pony)
Jim/Pam/Karen (The Office US)
Andy/Haley/Dylan (Modern Family)
Theo/Mabel/Tobert (Only Murders In The Building)

Listen, this matters to no one but me, and maybe a few others, but I really love Haley and Dylan. While I don't agree with seniors and sophmores/juniors being in relationships in highschool, the two of them growing up and going through different relationships and maturing seperately before coming back together is actually really good and really realistic. They love each other, yes, maybe a little codependent, but they are really good parents. Dylan was a great addition to the cast and Haley and Dylan are actually a lot smarter than they are given crdit for. I liked how Haley's storyline ended, because even if it seems like a copout, it really isn't. Haley is still trying to figure herself out and throughout the show, we can see that she wants to be mature and she wants to be seen as mature, that's why she was intially attracted to Andy, because he made her feel like an adult and she was considered one with him. As someone whose mother, specifically, still sees them as a child, no matter how old they get, I get where Haley's coming from. I really like her ending because it's open, obviously, but she is a mother to two beautiful babies and a wife to a really sweet and supportive man and she's happy. It doesn't matter whether you liked her with someone else, or no one at all, her ending makes sense. She finally gets the responisbility and maturity she's been searching for AND she is married to a man she feels safe with, who probably reminds her of her dad, who is a safe man and was always there for her. She can still pursue fashion and other careers and Dylan is going to nursing school, probably going to become a nurse and they love each other and they love their kids and they love their family, I love them. I think it's a good end for both of the characters.
Am I the only one who's confused as to why Phil and Claire in Modern Family get so stressed by Haley having a baby and go on about how she's not ready? Because like she's an adult. She's not even 18 or something she's 25. And I know they hate dylan but it's also their life and their choice at this point.
