sitting out in the front yard seemed like a good idea at first. it would give gracie fresh air, room for the dog to run around, she could relax. but it was proving to be difficult when gracie kept pulling on the dog's tail. "i dunno why you keep confusing 'no' with 'yes'," kayleb said as she tapped gracie's hand. "but mommy said stop pulling on goliath's tail, it's mean," she said sternly, pulling her daughter away from the great dane, who curled up beside her and plopped his head in her lap. "she's gonna give me a run for my money as she gets older," kayleb said with a small sigh.
