If my boyfriend were a bug I think he' be a Common Blue Damselfly- and he think I'd be the grub of a Western Hercules Beetle!

Thus, I decided to draw us as them!

Anonymous submitted: hercules beetle (?) found on the sidewalk…moved her to the grass so she would not be smooshed. she was enormous and had the prettiest, glossiest body. what a gentle giant. grateful to have held her for a few seconds.

Yep, a female Hercules beetle! She’s large and perfect and I love her deeply.
