sorry this is so late, i drew vic about a million times (9 actually) since i first got the ask, but literally all of them except this one looked super off for some reason. he’s here now tho!! and i ofc had to go for the 80s look for him, it’ll always be my fav<3

also xiomara!!! wowie!!! i had a much easier time with her, but i wish there was more of her on pinterest. i dont know much about her since i dont read much blue beetle aside from a little bit of ted’s 80s run, but from the research i did for the drawing she seems really cool and i’ll have to look into her more.

If my boyfriend were a bug I think he' be a Common Blue Damselfly- and he think I'd be the grub of a Western Hercules Beetle!

Thus, I decided to draw us as them!

my first model kit!! my bf sent me pics of stuff he found in a model shop and this was one of the photos. never built a model kit in my life but i instantly ordered it. pretty proud of how it came out

Yep, a female Hercules beetle! She’s large and perfect and I love her deeply.
