Revisiting the Prydain fancomic (by Saeriellyn), and I now have major brainrot. I know I’m not currently at a level to do character art, so here’s Dyrnwyn instead! The book 1 translation is on the blade and the real inscription is behind (you gave it a good shot, Eilonwy, but your translation could’ve been better).

I remember you once saying that in your DisneyVerse that Attina marries a merman from Merrowway Cove so that got me wondering if you had any headcanons for how Queen Emmaline has a Trident as powerful as Triton's.

Not really. I imagine that they likely work similar to how many different land monarchs have magical swords. Arthur having Excalibur doesn't cancel out Taran having Dyrnwyn.

What would be really interesting is if there's some sort of underwater Wayland Smith (the legendary smith who seems to make all these magical swords, or at least a good amount of them x) out there making magic tridents for merfolk.
