This morning I looked into some new variations and routines to try over the next couple of weeks! :) I think that since my month long lull of not practicing, I need to spice things up a bit and jump start my learning process to keep improving in my practice.

Anyway, in looking up these new routines, I found this lovely warrior/eagle variation that I decided to practice for today's theme "balance." I know that it may not make total sense to everyone, but these stances tend to have me nearly toppling over at times when I can't seem to find my center of balance :p (which is an ongoing struggle for me, and something I am continuously working on). Adding in the element of the arms and looking to the ceiling is an extra obstacle for me to get used to. But I absolutely love it! It produces such a wonderful stretch in the shoulders and chest and also encourages the extra back bend (which isn't quite my strong  point yet).

Day 10 of #freeyogis is #vulnerable.     When I practice, I feel most vulnerable in most leg balances.    I feel pretty secure in tree and half moon, and that's about it.....the rest of them I feel light and precarious.    I sometimes shake, sometimes I am still, but there's always this hint that I could fall over at any moment.      I do not feel stable, but vulnerable.    But because of this, I feel open.    And that is a good thing.
