Lines for Ever After High Characters That I Thought of and Have No Mental Context For

Like, we all have those moments, right? Where our brain goes “Character: ‘amazing line’” and then we have no context? No fic or AU they belong to? Yeah, that’s these. They’re up for grabs, free use in fics and other stuff.

May I ask why some students don't attend Ever After High for their destinies? I can see sidekick and minor characters even without destinies not attending but what about those with major destiny.

And would Jamil and Leona be happy attending EAH? I picture Jamil and Leona don't because they would be restricted on their classes and everything.

there are… a lot of fairytales out there, and EAH does not look like that big of a school. to me, it would simply make no sense for there not to be other options.

for example, Tiny appears to be the only giant student at EAH. but there are countless fairytales and legends that feature giants, and it would be impractical for them all to attend a human-dominant school—so, as we know, Beanstalk High exists. it’s also stated that the previous Little Mermaid did not go to school on land, even though she has a major story; Meeshell was sent to EAH in order to adapt to life on land before her time came. otherwise she would have remained in Merschool. since nonhuman species have their own schools, i don't think it's unreasonable to assume humans from around the world can too.

so in this AU, the other schools like NRC and RSA can accept storied students provided they eventually sign the Storybook of Legends. it’s up to the headmasters’ discretion to recommend which students should be accepted into EAH. maybe Leona's older brother went to EAH, but Crowley was like "nah I want this one" for some reason? as for Jamil, I imagine it's tradition for the vizier to attend the same school as the sultan.

in the hypothetical situation that Jamil and Leona did attend EAH, i’m not sure either of them would be too bothered by the curriculum. Leona would be free to make use of the library on his own time, and as a prince he’d still naturally gather underlings. he’d also already have the background political knowledge from his childhood and upbringing. at any rate i highly doubt he’d lament missing the jousting tournaments with the princes in Hero Training 😶

Jamil is already resigned to his lack of freedom 😭 ofc he wouldn’t be happy, but he also wouldn’t feel more upset than he already is as Kalim’s shadow at NRC. at least at EAH he might be allowed to shine, even if in classes not of his own choosing. so rip

Personally, I think it makes more sense to have Blondie in metal and I’m genuinely surprised that didn’t win, what with her lock-picking abilities.

Fire makes sense to me up until Lizzie (although if we’re putting Darling in metal I feel Chase could be there too). I feel like we’re just associating red with fire, but I had voted lightning for her so I suppose it’s not that different.

You know what peeves me off?? Jillian and Rosabella would NOT have plant powers!!! In the Jack and The Beanstalk story, Jack is a poor boy and their family is desperate for money to feed themselves and upgrade their home. If Jillian had plant powers, there would be no story! No need for the magic beans! No need for the giant beanstalk! The beast in Beauty and The Beast is protecting a flower! Doesn’t want its petals to fall off! Know what they wouldn’t have to worry about if they had plant powers??

And about Courtly? I feel we’ve fallen into ‘give villain characters dark abilities’. She’s a jester! She’s bright and flashy! How does darkness make any sense? /gen

I’m also genuinely curious for peoples reasonings to why they put the characters that are in the air category there. The only one that’s obvious is Cupid. Maddie would’ve made sense in water or plant what with her teas. Dexter and Humphrey would’ve made sense in lightning or metal with their tech abilities. I’m not sure about Holly.
