Playground legend, Earl "The Goat" Manigault... He used his 52" vertical to grab money off the tops of backboards and reverse dunked 36 times to win a $60 bet. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said that (The Goat) was the best player he's ever played against.

The people you meet in Detroit. I thought this week I'd walk away with zero photos. It was late, snowy, and dead. Stubborn for results, I went across main street looking for photogenic musicians. I homed in on a wheelchair-bound man in a barbershop quartet hat outside a musical restaurant.
Suddenly, I found myself amidst a plethora of men with dapper hats. One agreed to pose, and he even lay across his Mercedes Benz (he called it his "Benzo") for me! Hahaha. He volunteered different poses for a good ten minutes. Used to trying to keep things short out of respect, this seemed like an eternity to me. He kept intimating he was a somebody I should know. He is married to the daughter of the forerunner to James Brown. I like both Brown and his progenitor, Jackie Wilson.
Wilson was the Earl "G.O.A.T." Manigault of soul music; he would've been the "Greatest Of All Time" had he not thrown it all away for his drugs. Mr. "Benzo" told me I could take photos of his singer wife. He made a lot of promises, and we even exchanged information, but honestly, I think he is as untrustworthy and sketchy as he is a great poser for photos. Hahaha. Everything is in pairs in this week's shots. Also, yellow, black, and white crept in somewhat as thematic colors.

The Greatest Of All Time. Eux qui ont été…
