One step at a time. When I first got sober there was so much that changed so quickly. Those first, 30,60,90 days were a whirlwind of emotions and exponential growth. Then eventually, things slowed down a bit, and balanced back out. This actually scared me because for so long my life had been chaos, and one shoe dropping right after another. I didn’t know what peace, balance, or calm felt like. I thought I was backsliding, and edging towards relapse. Luckily, this wasn’t the case at all. See, the big changes, the ones we can see or feel instantly are encouraging, but it’s the little things that come with time that make the biggest difference. Finally reaching a point in life and sobriety that I could share intimate details about my life and journey curated the most long lasting changes. For some this looks like therapy, long talks with a friend/spouse, or a 4th and 5th step with a sponsor. Small steps count just as much as giant leaps, keep moving forward, one step at a time! • • • • #earlysobriety #newlysober #sober #sobriety #soberliving #wedorecover #recoveryispossible #odaat #onestepatatime #babysteps #itworksifyouworkit #keepitsimple #sobercommunity #recoverycommunity #addictionrecovery #recoveringalcoholic #recoveryposse #growthjourney #soberjourney #recoveryjourney #fypage #soberblogger #recoveryblog #soberlifeisthebestlife #soberlivingrocks https://www.instagram.com/p/CpvAE9XuvNB/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
