Sometimes people think easkulls are dragonlike, but honestly the most refs I pull from are big cats or bulls or even pitbulls. I really love this structure! Plus leopards have amazing eyes

Testing out a simple paint/sketch method that I enjoyed quite a bit.
The critter image is a redo of an older piece from 2007. There will be some redos coming up in the near future! The old sketches will come of use yet again

Social status as well in the case of Azuryt and Leah. Despite his growing affection, Az shows concern about damaging her social standing more than about himself.

Blind color test
I’m a little behind posting here so let me fill you in
Testing a new method of painting where you paint in color, but under an adjustment layer that makes the image b/w as you paint blindly choosing and blending colors. After I had a base down I cleaned it up and spruced up with paint brushes. Funny how he ended up with sort of with Azuryt's color pallete.
