The first plant I'll be drawing as part of the edible plants of Australia book is the handsomely named 'pigface'. Pigfaces are one of Australia's tastiest wild fruits and grow on most coastlines below the tropic of capricorn. The leaves are also edible and because of their close proximity to the ocean are quite salty.
