That’s absolutely the capper on the short-notice reservations for this trip. Aloette is quite the hint into just how interesting Alo and Alobar will be when someday I have the opportunity to plan ahead in advance. The vibe is chill, basic, nostalgic, but also restrained…high cuisine wearing a neighborhood diner costume. Hyper-attentive staff, detailed and balanced dishes, perfectly staggered waves of plates ordered, and every single menu item we ordered absolutely slapped. For the table, we agreed the olives and squash were unskippable (and relatively inexpensive), though I would genuinely doubt anything coming out of @aloette_restaurant would fail to impress. #torontofood #torontorestaurants #eattoronto (at Aloette) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn3bb8sOC7W/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
