Ash and Fire - Echo Poem
Drunk on power they rise and fall all seeing the destruction left in their wake ache in the hearts of the innocents caught in the crossfire ire awakened as they rally and fight might of the desperate to save their land and as ash rains from darkened sky I watch as all we have known burns to the ground

The reflection on the lake, of the sky - I
And of me, who I watch - watch
Shimmering in the blue - you
I can feel her watch - watch
From beyond the shore - your
Noticing the beauty of myself - self

Naiveté
Demons take many forms. Former saints join the ranks, Ranking often higher than original sinners. Inner darkness takes hold. Old faith breaks despite the length of time.
