Han and Leia from the European Convention Exclusive. There’s no such thing named European Convention. However there were a few comic and other conventions, where this set was offered. I attended none of them. The box is massive and inside recreates an Echo Base tunnel, where Han and Leia discussed about the degree of their relationship Bein a professional one or more a love thing. Han being the narcissist he is of course assumed the latter. Leia later confirmed his assumption and we all know how that went. The Leia figure is nothing short of fantastic. Just like with the real Leia you have to have her stand on a box to get her within Han kissing range. The face looks unbelievably exceptional and frighteningly real. Only downside I found with this figure was her right hand, which I found difficult to make her hold the blaster tightly. It looks molded perfectly as if it’s designed to do just that but somehow the blaster doesn’t stay there. The Han figure is another story. Apart from Han not having worn his “Hoth Outfit” while having his love talk with Leia (He wore his “Bespin Outfit”), the figure is in parts a little underwhelming. It is an improvement in comparison to the Hoth Han that came with the Tauntaun a few years ago, as it seems a little more flexible and has a far superior head sculpt and paint app. However the collar is ruining the figure for me. It’s only after you removed the last rubber band around Han’s chest when you realize that it was the only way to keep the otherwise very loose collar tightly and look remotely natural. Also it’s just the collar, no hood. Apart from that it just looks cheap and off. As if there was too much Range Trooper collar material available to waste up. The set comes with an additional tool and welding mask which allows re-enacting iconic scenes between our two love birds. Overall it’s a set that you probably need for the tools and if you can’t skip this Han version, that seems otherwise not available. The set for me doesn’t look very great in the box but that is probably just me.
