21B got way more popular than I thought they would so hi. itâs me. Hereâs some tidbits
Once, when you were eating a snack, they tried to mimic the action of eating. theyre ended up just causing a mess in their core and it was your job to clean it out. again
theyre a lot like a bird. their whirs serve as their trills and they make gentle beeping noises as a chirp. in particular Iâd liken them to a shrike bird in behavior, but note if you look up shrike birds you will see animal gore due to their distinctive habit of spearing prey on spikes
i didnât describe their appearance much in the originalpost so Iâll describe it here. they have long, long legs. Their overall coloration is a deep, reflective gray with the little red paint they havenât scraped off decorating their chest, thighs, and shoulders. The paint has a pattern resembling veins, now because of how they scratched it. it used to be sleek and smooth, 2 lines on each side. Their head is a bit like a forward facing pyramid. itâs thin and sharp. very birdy
cockpits resemble a coffin in shape. the surrounding core varies in shape, but I imagine it like a heart or stomach.
despite their lack of dialogue in my original drabble 21B very much can talk. itâs just not common. the first time they talked it was when you were out late on patrol, high up by some radio towers. itâs very monotone of a voice, their voice box isnât a priorty feature , but whether itâs masculine or feminine is up to interpretation. they said you were great company. By the way they are basically as tall as a radio tower.
in terms of world building, metals are currently incredibly valuable to the government. in the midst of a war theyâve scrapped commercial cars for more parts for mechs. streets are empty
mechs are harddrived to be patriotic. its so they donât go rouge and if their pilot has doubts about their actions, and they usually do, the mech can coerce them back on the right path.
pilots die young. not surprising, but because of that people are just being chosen now from off the street. their training comes later
having an intense, codependent bond with a mech isnât very weird as a pilot. to be honest itâs expected . It varies a lot, sometimes itâs familial, the mech viewing their pilot as fragile, hands guarding their steps out their core as if itâs their first. sometimes itâs platonic, friends never separating from their side, their pilot about to burst out giggling when the mech whirs a whisper near their ear. And romantic bonds, and thatâs 21B.
What separates 21B is firstly, their willingness to show how far theyâll go for you. Mechs are also supposed to not go out of their way to harm humans, or the humans they view as the âgoodâ team.
21B would have been put down a long time ago if the government was not desperate for mechs right now
if youâre into vore this oneâs for you because 21B will never say I love you but they will say that they wish they could eat you proper, a shame they canât make you one with them without digestion. so basically the same thing
note they do hold highly acidic âveinsâ in their system. so if they really wanted to they âcouldâ theyâd just have to rip and break a lot of metal
