I am happily typing this text post from my dorm room

Tomorrow is move in day for my first year of college!

I couldn't be more excited. My school is beautiful, my schedule seems pretty great, I've made great friends already. I think that leaving my hometown a month ago definitely helped the homesickness. But I'm not going to lie, leaving my immediate family is going to be the hardest. My mom is my best friend and I'm just not sure if I'm ready to leave her yet. I know this is going to be a great year. I'm just preparing myself for Ben and Jerry's combined with a crying session on Friday when they leave.
