I've watched the first episode of Ossan's Love HK, and I'm not sure I will be continuing it. Honestly, it followed the exact same plot as the Japanese version, so if you've watched that, you've watched this. I'm not sure if that will continue in the future episodes, but I hope not. It just leads you to always compare the two, and the HK version is lacking.

This is mainly because of the male lead Tin, played by Edan Lui.

No disrespect to him, but he's not playing the character well. His physical comedy is lacking and seems forced. Tin is quite annoying, honestly. This type of character can very easily come off annoying in the first place. He's a man child that is messy, inconsiderate, and doesn't know how to take care of himself in any way, shape, or form. Though that is the case, when Tanaka Kei was playing him, I never felt annoyed by him. He was all those things, but it was endearing rather than annoying. Kei brought a sweetness to the character that, unfortunately, Edan has not. Everyone else is doing a great job, but so much of the story depends on Tin's character that I don't know if I can get past my dislike of him to watch the rest.
