7) When is your preferred time to write?

It used to always be in the middle of the night but now it’s whenever my husband goes to work/is sleeping. So it’s usually in the evening when he’s working the evening shift or it’s in the morning/early afternoon after he’s worked a night shift. His schedule is so weird sometimes that it’s hard to spend time together so I tend to prioritize him when he’s available. I’m definitely more likely to write at night though. Total night owl.

12) Who is your favourite character to write for? Why?

I love writing MooMaw from OMGCP. I haven’t done much about her yet but even when I just mention her and the impact she’s had on Bitty, those are often my favourite parts of the fic.

Also, when I wrote Supernatural fic, I did a lot of Sam centric fic. I’m a total Sam!girl. Although some people have told me that my Dean voice is more authentic so idk.

27) Do you make a general outline for your stories or do you just go with the flow?

It really depends on what I’m writing. If it’s just a short prompt fic, I start writing and see where it takes me. For longer fics I do have a general outline (very general) but I am not married to that outline. I’m constantly revising it as I write.

5. What is a good movie to fall asleep to?

I'm not really one for falling asleep to movies. I prefer silence. I'm not even sure the last time I fell asleep watching a movie, maybe Batman v Superman? (I still haven't seen that whole movie😂)

What do you eat when you watch movies at home?

It used to be anyways potato chips but I've mostly quit eating those, so fruit, dark chocolate, sometimes toast.

B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?Not any one particular story, per se, but maybe bits and pieces of my day-to-day experiences or bits of dialogue that I hear throughout my day. The closest thing to personal experience would be Dear Jack which I wrote thinking about my mother’s own battle with cancer. I was basically crying the entire time I wrote that fic.

P: Are you what George R. R. Martin would call an “architect” or a “gardener”? (How much do you plan in advance, versus letting the story unfold as you go?)Gardener all the way, and totally organic. I only have an outline or fleshed out summary about 20% of the time when I’m writing. The other 80% it’s just one sentence or a single flash of an idea that I go to the computer with and I let it go from there. For instance, with Pluviophile, I was driving to work and it was pouring and I made a huge splash with my car. From there, I thought, “What if Bitty splashed Jack with his car?” With that one sentence, I sat in front of my laptop and just went for it. I get distracted super easy, so this approach works better for me.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?I love how Judy Blume handles dialogue, and how immersive Margaret Atwood and Amy Tan make their worlds. And Russell Banks just creates these characters that pull you in. I read so much academic work, that when I can sink my teeth into a good piece of fiction, I really savor it. And I’m eternally grateful to fanfic for that—so much great work out there. Y’all make me so happy! And when it comes to fanfic writers, I think @emungere is absolutely brilliant.

💧teardrop: are you okay right now?In this very moment, I think so. In the grand scheme of things, I think I’m learning to be.

🔮 granted wishes: you have one chance to have any possible wish granted, what do you wish for?

I would wish to be happy. Because a lot of people wish for wealth or beauty or fame and I know if that’s what’s going to make me happy, then if I ask for happiness I will get that. If that’s not what’s going to make me happy then I won’t get it. But what’s most important is that I ultimately end up happy and I don’t know what will get me there but I’m working on it.
