My client came in with a picture in mind that she wanted to get done for her hair. She showed me a couple of pictures off of my own Instagram that she liked (I love when clients make a reference to my own photos ☺️) and it seems to always be the ones that are the hardest ones to achieve like super light blondes and platinum blondes. I get it, I mean who doesn’t want to achieve their goal of blondes have more fun? But every time someone sits in my chair, they pull up these photos while they themselves sit at a level between 1-5. Let me just dive in and clarify to all of you brunettes who wanna be blondebombshells, it cannot be done in one session. It’s a very long process which means it’s going to be a large investment. Being blonde is a lifestyle and if you don’t know now then let me tell you that it requires a lot of maintenance with a whole lot of care. For those of you who already have a balayage or any other blonding technique done, same rule applies; because of the fact that your ends are already prelightened and also from another stylist it makes it even that much harder because I literally have to pick out the lighter pieces to make sure you do not end up with extreme breakage. This requires a lot of time and couldn’t be done without the help of Olaplex or any other form of bond enforcing system, and requires you to take home products that are going to keep your hair happy and healthy. So unless you don’t want to end up with a shoulder length haircut please do not show me pictures like this if you are not ready to fully make a commitment to the process, the time, money and myself. My only pleasure is to give you guys gorgeous hair, but it only makes it easy for the both of us if you are willing to be patient with the process and I promise that you will be a beautiful blonde princess 😘❤️ But other then that I love today’s transformation ❤️ #yychair #balayageartists #calgaryhair #yycsalon (at Edges Salon and Spa)
