I've been re-reading, editing and dragging a polishing cloth over my Steddie NaNo fic for the past two days. And you know what? The person who wrote this knows exactly what I like. What are the odds? 🤣

All kidding aside, I'm only a few chapters into the process, and I know I'll fuck with those chapters approximately 92 more times before I ever dream of posting anything. But still. This is the longest I've looked at this fic since NaNo wrapped up in November.

Will anyone else like it? No idea. But writing what you want to read definitely makes for a good time, I'll tell you what.

Because of several posts I will now be talking about how I miss c!Fundy. Like is he okay?? Like he was actively having nightmare prophetic dreams, to the level of it influencing his own day to day life, and there was someone legit chasing him in his dreams. Was it DreamXD? I don't know. And his dad's alive, and has done a lot of shit in his current home country, but they have not talked yet. Like i'm so emotional by this. And when's the last time someone's invited him to do fun things? What happened to his yacht? Where's Yoghurt? I'm emotional, i miss c!Fundy.

The first time you write something, it's gonna suck. It's ALWAYS gonna suck. Let it suck. Don't force it. You know what, you can go back and fix it. You can go back to it 20 times and keep fixing it. Let it be a stick figure the first time you write it and keep fleshing it out till it's the scariest, most realistic thing you've ever laid eyes on. Just stop being so hard on yourself the first time you're getting it all down.
