Artie had his own outlets, but their effectiveness seemed to wane with each passing day. Much like his attractiveness, he thought darkly.

Luis Iana, Day 86, Part 3
Carla: Hi.
Susana: Hi.
Carla: I called your place but your mum told me you were at your dads and gave me his home number.
Susana: Yeah, my phone's dead. I was thinking if I dropped enough hints, Papi might help me replace it, but he hasn't said anything. Anyway, we had more important things to talk about.
Carla: Oh?
Susana: I came out to my dad. He was surprisingly okay with it. I told him you're my girlfriend... which isn't quite true... yet.
Susana: Will you be my girlfriend?
Carla: ...Yes, but I can't promise anything once I get to college-
Susana: Clover.
Carla: Yeah, but not just Clover. There's a whole world out there, Susana! It doesn't do to tie yourself down too early. But... whilst we're still both in high school... yes, I'll be your girlfriend.
Susana is one happy girl!
Freddy: What're you playing, hermanito?
Gaby: No lo se, pero es fun!
Luis: What is Mami doing this weekend, whilst you are here?
Jose: No lo se. Working, I think.
After lunch, it was naptime all round.
When Susana woke up, she decided not to call Carla because she didn't want to seem needy or too keen, but Carla called her, so that's alright!
Ida wanted Daisy to join the sorority! And interesting enough she accepted to pledge. Helen doesn’t seem to care, though. She’s occupied with Luis Iana.
Luis Iana, Day 86, Part 2
Jose: Are you going out with Carla today?
Susana: None of your business, hermanito!
Gaby's the tallest person in the world!
Luis wants a massage. No, he needs a massage. Seeing Dot last nigth was stressful. How many more times and different ways can he apologise?
This is better! (He got a big bonus at work last rotation, so he can afford $100 on a massage, whilst Sue can barely afford her house repayments).
Luisa: How you we even play this game?
Freddy: We don't know.
Luisa: Then how are you playing it?
Susana: We're just making it up!
Gaby: Quiero volar! Let me go!
Luisa: Nope - that's a recipe for disaster!
I see Luis didn't get dressed immediately after his massage.
Jose: So when are you seeing Carla again?
Luis: Carla? Quien es esa?
Susana: ... Mi novia.
Luis: Novia?
Susana: Si. I'm gay. Deal with it, Papi.
Luis: ... Tu crees no soy feliz si tu eres gay?
Susana: Maybe... but I don't care if you like it or not, because I am and I like Carla.
Luis: Bueno. Genial.
Susana: De verdad?
Luis: Si. If you're happy, I'm happy. And I don't have to chase any boys away from you...
Susana: Papi!
This dinner cost another hundred simoleons. I wish Sue had some money.
In the morning, Luis' kids arrived, all with motives in good order, so he took them out to the Leisure Centre.
Luis Iana, Day 86, Part 1
Luis: Well, I can't promise ice cream, but I do have dinner if you wanted to come over?
Luis: It's lovely to see you, Lydia.
Shy flirting!
Lydia: This coleslaw is amazing!
Luis: My daughter, Susana, made it when she was last here.
Lydia: How old is she?
Luis: Fifteen.
Lydia: What? My kid's six - it's so weird that someone younger than me has a fifteen year old!
Luis: She is not the oldest - Luisa is seventeen!
Luis: I'm glad you came over.
Dot: Are you? Does this mean you're over your jealousy? Because I'm getting pretty sick and tired of it, Luis.
Dot: Seriously, this jealousy has got to stop. It's exhausting, Luis. I don't want to be anyone's wife. Been there, done that. I just want to have a good time, with whoever I fancy. That includes you, but isn't exclusively you. I don't know why I have to keep repeating that to you, over and over.
Luis: I'm sorry.
Dot: Are you? Because you say that, and then a few days or weeks later, here we are again.
Luis: I can't help how I feel-
Dot: Maybe not, but you can help how you react. Feel jealous, by all means, but don't interupt my date to chew my ear off about it.
Luis: Okay. I'm sorry. I will try.
Luis: Now, enough talking-
Dot: I don't want to sleep with you tonight, Luis.
Luis: ...
Dot: Because I'm still annoyed with you, and it's late. Let's just hang out a bit, and then I'll go home.
Luis: You're punishing me for being jealous.
Dot: No, I don't find jealousy attractive and I don't have to sleep with you if I don't want to.
Luis: I'm sorry...
Dot: Goodnight, Luis. I'll call you in a few days, once I'm less mad at you. Give me space, please.
Luis started the evening with a few generic romantic/social wants, and a fear of Dot dying. He's mad at Dot since he saw her on a date with Jason. He also had a (non-romantic) want for Lydia, who's called him on his last two rotations.
So, he called Dot, but she was at work. Then he called Lydia and invited her over (not a date; just invited her over). Of course as soon as he got off the phone to Lydia, Dot rang!
Luis flirted with Lydia once to give her the idea, but she seemed disinclined to cheat on her husband, and then his wants rolled over to all Dot, so he said goodbye and called Dot.
(Part of me was hoping Lydia would cheat and then break up with Tommy - Tommy and Sue dated a couple of times in college and were cute together!)
Don’t worry, Clovis had plenty of encounters with actual chemistry to back it up.
Luis was exactly as his wife described; he got quite a kick of being matchmaked by her. Rayne and Luis were birds of a feather. Ann, impressed, thought about her own future for the first time: perhaps it could take on a form similar to this union.
With such a supportive family, Luis found it easy to recover from setbacks.
