Again, I don't understand why people haven't saw the coincidences between the Dashwood sisters and The Frozen sisters or, why no one haven't did this before. As Thanos I said again: Fine, I'll do it myself. The trailer explains perfectly what is unnescesary to tell here. Ignore that in the ending credits I put Frozen 2, I was thinking into putting a clip from the trailer, but I realized that I could use a clip from the first movie.

I recently saw someone on youtube say that Edward Ferras lacked a backbone. I assume this is in reference to his refusal to break off his engagement to Lucy. What that person (and anyone who agrees with them) fails to understand is that back in Regency Era England breaking off an engagement was considered to be much more of a serious thing than it is today. Today, people do it all the time and society doesn't really care. But was not true then. Society was not at all in favor of ending engagements, especially for the man. It was a big no-no. So really Lucy was the only one of the two of them who could have ended that engagement without a huge scandal (and she did).

Edward didn't keep his engagement to Lucy because he was weak. On the contrary. He did it because he was an honorable man. What makes this so bizarre is that his mother would have known what she was asking when she told him to end it. She knew full well she has asking him to behave in a way that society at the time would have found to be completely dishonorable. She tried to hold money over his head to get him to do it. In other words, she tried to bribe him into dishonoring not only Lucy, but himself. And in the end he wouldn't do it. Not because he loved Lucy. But because he believed it was the right thing to do. Because he believed honor to be more important than wealth. So, he didn't lack a backbone. He had more integrity than his mother, his brother, and certainly his sister. Edward Ferras was by far and away the best member of his family.
