Who's the better one-off character? (Quaterfinals)
Jose Chung (played by Charles Nelson Reilly in "Jose Chung's From Outer Space")
Steve & Edy (played by J.W. Smith & Curtis Jackson in "X-Cops")
Luther Lee Boggs (played by Brad Dourif in "Beyond the Sea")
Jose Chung: He just has such a way with words...
Jose Chung: Seeking the truth about aliens means a perfunctory 9-to-5 job to some. For although Agent Diana Lesky [Cut to Scully reading the completed book "From Outer Space"] is noble of spirit and pure at heart, she remains, nevertheless, a federal employee. As for her partner, Renard Muldrake - that ticking time bomb of insanity - his quest into the unknown has so warped his psyche, one shudders to think how he receives any pleasures from life. [Cut to Mulder in bed watching the Patterson-Gimlin bigfoot film]
Steve & Edy: Gays not buried! Also they manage to resolve conflict maturely and stay together. Pretty good queer rep for the year 2000
Luther Lee Boggs: Brad Dourif killing it as usual. Memorable for a reason.
