Hey Julian! I believe tomorrow is Eggman Day - April 8th! How are you going to celebrate? I’m playing Sonic Colours and Unleashed to marvel at him in the cutscenes, I like his design best in those ones! :)
Yes, I still remember the first one back in 2017 and that was a great time. It seems like everyone forgot for the next couple of years after, or at least it wasn't supposed to be annually. But of course I couldn't forget it!
Every day is Eggman Day for me though, I'm always revisiting various media, replaying games and appreciating him in so many ways! But tomorrow I will do some more of that as usual! Maybe I'll watch some of the compiled Eggman cutscenes I recorded, listen to my favorite voice clips, rewatch a couple of my favorite Sonic X episodes, etc. I'm also in the middle of replaying Unleashed so I might jump back into that too. I also have some more posts in store!
If all goes well on this art I'm working on, I'll hopefully have that to post tomorrow too. But I'm not quite sure if it'll be done in time.
And YES Colors and Unleashed are two of my favorite games in terms of Eggman cutscenes! In Unleashed he has absolutely gorgeous animation in both CG and in game cutscenes and in Colors he gets lots of screentime. I just want to see his handsome face in them as much as possible, it creates an instant surge of intense joy!!! hhghffnddhg
