I dont know how to articulate it very well but i actually hate the fact that Adam thinks that Salts obsession and harassment toward OJ was entirely of her own volition. It removes so much of what little we have of her character and it just sucks to see. This isnt even from being sn OJ fan standpoint but i really believe she'd be so much more interesting if Mephone4 coded her that way because a lot of reality shows he may have watched had one sided romances?? As well as the idea of Salt struggling with the fact that she was coded to be in love with this man who obviously doesnt and wont ever like her back??

Salt is bad. She wont always be bad, but she's a bad person that deserves growth, and a badly handled character. She's treated bad by the fandom and the creators themselves. She is actively pursuing OJ after multiple times of him explicitly saying NO or expressing his disinterest, but now she, all of a sudden, acted on those thoughts on her own. Mephone4 had no say in the matter. I dont? Understand really.

hey guys quick little wholesome hc rant for u while i work on these icons:

so johnny hecka loves to sing. he lovvesss to sing. he’s kinda shy about his voice but for whatever reason it really calms down the knight fragments in him so he tends to hum and sing to himself when he’s anxious or afraid. if he’s having a nightmare sometimes he’ll sing in his sleep bc he’s singing in the dream!

anyway, lots of times jameson will hear his nephew singing in the kitchen or in his room, humming as he does his homework or he’ll see him mouthing the words to songs as he drives the car. since jameson is a full blooded, Very Powerful siren, johnny has a tiny bit of that in his blood as well. jamie is always so proud to hear his nephew singing or humming or whistling their songs, sometimes john will even sign the words to a song stuck in his head if he doesn’t have the external pieces of his cochlear implants in! james and john will often sign to music together or bust out some whistle tunes with eachother. it’s one of those things they do together that jonathan just. would give up for. james too.

so yes! there we are, siren family loves to make music together >:3 also i have a lore update for later which i might just add onto this one so!! expect that too :D

ughh I’m gonna rant for a minute here but I’m so irked that people are selling artwork on nookazon for outrageous bell and nmt prices when you can buy them from redd for like, 5k bells. I know people do this just because Redd has been so rare to actually show up on islands but it just makes me sad that it’s nearly impossible to complete the museum without time traveling or grinding hardcore.

I genuinely thought that payjay was paintbrush x oj when I first watched it cuz they had so much chemistry and ship potential (I deadass forgot paper even existed until I was told the ship was paperxoj)

so my chase is a math teacher right? but he also has some pretty hardcore adhd and anxiety issues so like. his classes are so wack.

like he starts off his classes with a starter, some days it’s a warm up problem to what they’re learning, other days it’s like “what would you do if you could feel the neurons in your brain working” and they have very in depth conversations about the most random things.

sometimes he doesn’t even teach math. like sometimes a kid asks a question about why gravity works the way it does and for the next hour he’s teaching science. one time i bet he even started a little— controlled, mind you— fire, to show them the effects of heat on different objects. like what. you don’t teach science. stop it. okay you might be teaching science soon i might make him a science teacher instead. anyway.

just. teacher chase, amirite? everyone wants his class. bet.

so i’ve started watching avatar and i’ve come to the conclusion that jonathan has 100% seen the moves some of these benders have and put them into his own power usage. water whip? guess what. FIRE whip. johnny learned he can shoot like little fire bullets bc he saw aangs little marble trick, tiny fire balls circling in his hand and then pew pew pew!! he’s learning so much!! and you can BET he watches zukos moves like a HAWK!!! irl fire bender jonathan here y’all!!

i like thinking abt john doin dANGEROUS things.

like ever since he found out who anti really is, what he’s done to his family, he’s tried so so hard to stop seeing him and stop training with him right, he barely ever sees anti anymore. but he still needs something dangerous, something to keep him alive.

he jumps from rooftop to rooftop in the big cities, he gets a skateboard and goes down hUGE huge hills and purposefully flies off to put himself in shields to feel that rush of will he summon the shields in time??? he’ll go to a junkyard and try to steal a car, he’ll find super bad people in the neighborhoods and pull a spider-man, get himself in some rEAL bad situations. and when he gets home, all scratched up and out of breath and high on adrenaline that’s slowly coming down, he gets in sOO much trouble. but the egos know like, yes these things hes doing are scary and we need to keep an eye on him, but also. it’s better than him going to anti everytime. but also STOP JUMPING FROM ROOFTOP TO ROOFTOP PLEASE OH MY GOSH JOHNNY YOURE GONNA GIVE JAMESON A HEART ATTACK— NOOOOOO!!!
