This weekend I worked with @marieforleo’s “Everything is Figureoutable”. I say worked, because it’s not a book to read, this book helps you work through stuff. I know lots of things that Marie is talking about, but her take on them was completely new to me and it helped me strengthen what I’ve learned and worked through in therapy and in the last couple of months. There’s so much good stuff in this book that I can’t name it all. But I want to share the most important message to me: “No matter how many times do you think an idea or creation has been shared in the world, sometimes it takes that one person expressing it in their unique voice, at the right time, in the right place, for it to actually make a difference. YOU are that person for somebody. […] There’s always room for more. There’s always room for you.” That actually goes well with what @ruthpoundwhite was talking about in her Quiet Visibility workshop. And another important message is: “[…] the most important possible thing you can do is do a lot of work-do a huge volume of work. […] Life doesn’t demand perfection. Life doesn’t require you to be constantly fearless, confident, or self-assured. Life simply requires that you keep showing up.” So that’s what I’m going to do, because everything is figureoutable. Bu the way, I think that universe is trying to help me and is sending a lot of good stuff my way lately, even when I don’t expect it, like in The Good Place episode. It’s funny how it works sometimes. And as everything is figureoutable (I’m curious when the spellcheck will lear this word), I’ve joined @lucysheridan’s The Good Gram Activation to figure the visibility and showing up for my business stuff out. It’s going to be a good week, next week. The immersions EIF Immersion Course begins on Monday and TGG Activation on Tuesday. It's been a calm, quiet day. I always thought of myself as an 'avid #reader', even though I rarely managed to finish 12 books a year. But as part of constant #reinvention, I am redefining how I spend my time. I'm now over 50% of the way through #eifbook by @marieforleo.
