A Breeze of Happiness An Alternate Universe plot I have in my head for Nightcloud and her relationship with Crowfeather and Breezekit/paw/pelt.

I HATE the way Nightcloud babied and fussed her son after he was born and how she twisted his mind to make him think Crowfeather hated him. Personally I believe Crowfeather does love Breezepelt, but due to the loss of Leafpool and how he lost Feathertail, Crowfeather

is unable to properly express that love And so here is my Alternate Idea for the three of them. Nightcloud fans, please do not take anything I say about her to heart, I know I make her a nasty little Bi*** but to me, that is what she is like.

Plot behind the comic;

Breezepelt is NOT Crowfeather's true son. He is the kit of Mudclaw, the former Deputy of Windclan. Nightcloud never had the chance to tell any cat an when Onestar made it clear any cat who tried to follow Mudclaw's pawsteps would be exiled from Windclan she thought she would be exiled for having Mudclaw's Kits. After becoming 'mates' with Crowfeather, she manipulated him into spending a night with her, so when the kits 'came 'early', no cat suspected anything. She was however wrong as Kestrelflight (being a Medicine Cat) knew that the kits couldn't be so well developed if they were Crowfeather's and shouldn't survive.

Nightcloud, now scared and aware Onestar will be informed of what Kestrelflight thinks, poisoned her own kits to make them sick, resulting in the deaths of all but one kit, the smallest black kit Kestrelflight was able to save.

Crowfeather is horrified, believed it is his fault due to his continued loss of those he loves, but Kestrelflight tells Onestar what he knows and Onestar tells Crowfeather, when the three confront Nightcloud, she lets slip that the kits were indeed Mudclaw's. This is all while Breezekit is listening, safely tucked behind another Queen's tail, trying to understand why his parents are fighting. Onestar banishes Nightcloud from camp for her lies and tells her she will never be accepted as a Queen again for her crime of killing kits while Crowfeather, knowing no cat will trust Breezekit because of his true father, takes the kit for a walk to the lake, explaining why Windclan is not safe for him and why his mother has been sent away.

Breezekit falls asleep and Crowfeather asks Starclan for answers and help. Which comes in the form of dear old Tallstar and his advice that Breezekit would be safest in Thunderclan where Crowfeather can find true happiness at last, he hints at the Prophecy of Three but he doesn't tell Crowfeather all the details and so, Crowfeather takes a still sleeping Breezekit to the boarder of Thunderclan and there is he found by Berrynose and Thornclaw.

After talking to Firestar, Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight and Leafpool, Crowfeather is allowed to stay, Breezekit is introduced to Lionkit, Hollykit and Jaykit and their den mates, (My OCs kits of Ashfur and another OC of mine) and over time, he grows up in Thunderclan, under the watchful eyes of his adopted father and his mate Leafpool. Every cat is happy, save Nightcloud.

Nightcloud is still living away from Windclan, but is under watch on Onestar's orders, now and then she is able to catch glimpses of her son growing up happy and loved by Crowfeather and the cats of Thunderclan, though she cannot go and speak to him herself, this does make her sad but she refuses to let herself show weakness and plots to try and twist her son's mind to the same desires and power his true Father believed in.
