Yippee rant time :D

If I hear one more person complain about the new Miraculous designs, I might actually hurt someone. I scroll on my Instagram explore page and I see a thumbnail with like Rose or Juleca on it and I’ll be like 'cool, it’s the show I like' and click on it and it’s just a slideshow thing of the character, which yknow fined whatever, then I open the comments and EVERY. SINGLE. ONE is ALWAYS “omg, they ruined ___” “why did they make ___ look like that” SHUT UP!!! OMG!!! And I don’t think I’m being too nice whenever I see like Sabrina and don’t throw up, she’s cute! AND her new haircut is ADORABLE OMG and the whole point of the hair cut is that she's separating herself from her old self when she was essentially Chloe's slave cuz like 'hair holds memories' or something.

Like yeah, you can have opinions, and yeah, I agree that in that ONE PHOTO, Rose and Juleca look kinda funky, but it's ONE frame and that weird family tree photo. Most of the weird models/renders of the new designs are from like marketing for the new season/designs on like instagram, in the actual show and the end cards, the designs are fine. Just. Stop. Whining omg.

So I was rewatching the Aftershock episodes . . . again. When I noticed something. In Aftershock part one - after Terra has taken down Raven, Starfire, Cyborg and Beast Boy - when Robin comes after Terra. He jumps off his motor cycle to tackle Terra and has her pinned and his word choice is . . . interesting to say the least:

It did to me. It sounds like a direct echo of this:

I'm pretty sure that this is the only time in the show that Robin doesn't abbreviate his words and I don't think it's a coincidence.

Think about it for a second, who has he just lost because of Terra? Starfire. He just saw her get knocked unconscious and fall of a cliff because of a boulder Terra threw. And who is the only one is the team who speaks this way, not abbreviateing their words like everyone else? Starfire. Also notice the situation with Terra. She betrayed the team and became Slade's apprentice, she is now fighting against them. Remind you of any situation Robin has been in? The situation where Starfire says this exact line during their iconic rooftop standoff.

This also might have been brought to mind because of Beast Boy mentioning his time as Slade's apprentice earlier in the episode and bringing up the similarities in his and Terra's situations.

I think this is a really cool parallel and a nice little thing to pick up on.

Maybe I'm reading far too much into this but I still think that this is entirely possible and no one can convince me otherwise.

I am SO SORRY I haven’t posted anything today like I said I would. I will definitely try to post tomorrow. I was busy spending time with my family! Lots of awesome gifts (and an awesome breakfast! AND soon and awesome dinner, but seriously my mom and aunt have been making it for about 2 hours! It’s gonna be so good!) Anyways Merry Christmas!
